DSi is seeking an exceptional Project Manager to lead complex, high-impact software and technology projects across government and enterprise clients. This is a strategic leadership role requiring a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time, within scope, and within budget — while managing multi-disciplinary teams and senior stakeholder relationships.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in government software delivery, strong command of both traditional and agile methodologies, and mandatory professional certifications that demonstrate world-class project management competency.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery for government and enterprise software solutions, from initiation through closure
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in alignment with client and organizational goals
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), resource plans, and risk registers
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects simultaneously, ensuring portfolio-level visibility and prioritization
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for client communication, expectation management, and issue resolution
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government agency representatives, enterprise clients, and executive sponsors
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings, project reviews, and executive briefings
  • Negotiate project scope changes, timelines, and resource allocations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional project teams including developers, QA, analysts, and infrastructure engineers
  • Foster a high-performance delivery culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Coordinate with department heads to ensure resource availability and optimal team allocation
  • Coach and develop junior project managers and team leads within the PMO
  • Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle
  • Establish and enforce project governance frameworks aligned with organizational and client standards
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality benchmarks through structured review and acceptance processes
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, status reports, and audit trails
  • Apply and tailor PM methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, hybrid) to project context and client requirements
  • Drive adoption of PM tools, templates, and best practices across the PMO
  • Conduct post-project retrospectives and contribute lessons learned to organizational knowledge base
  • Support presales activities including effort estimation, project scoping, and proposal development
Requirements
  • Minimum 8–12 years of progressive project management experience in software delivery environments
  • At least 5 years in a senior or lead PM role managing government or large enterprise software projects
  • Proven experience in government software delivery within Bangladesh's IT industry is highly desirable
  • Experience managing distributed teams across multiple offices or locations
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern engineering practices
  • Familiarity with government IT procurement processes, compliance frameworks, and regulatory requirements in Bangladesh
  • Proficiency with project management tools: MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Trello, or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of ERP, e-governance, or national-scale software systems is a significant advantage
  • Competency in reporting and dashboarding tools for portfolio visibility

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (mandatory)
  • Master's degree (MBA or MSc in a relevant discipline) is strongly preferred
