Responsibilities

As a Trainee VLSI Analog Circuit Design Engineer at Dynamic Solution Innovators, you will embark on an exciting journey to develop and refine your skills in analog circuit design. You will work closely with a team of experienced engineers to design, simulate, and validate high-performance analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Circuit Design: Assist in the design and development of analog circuits such as amplifiers, filters, ADCs, DACs, and other analog building blocks.
  • Simulation and Analysis: Perform circuit simulations using industry-standard tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, SPICE) to verify design performance and robustness.
  • Layout Support: Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure that the physical design meets performance and reliability requirements.
  • Testing and Validation: Participate in the testing and validation of prototype circuits, analyzing results, and making necessary design adjustments.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed design documentation, including specifications, simulation results, and test reports.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including digital designers, layout engineers, and system architects, to ensure seamless integration of analog and digital components.
Requirements

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in analog circuit design, including operational amplifiers, filters, ADCs, DACs, and other analog building blocks.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and behavior (e.g., MOSFETs, BJTs).
  • Experience with CAD tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Mentor Graphics, or similar for schematic capture and layout.
  • Proficiency in SPICE simulation tools (e.g., LTspice, Cadence Spectre).
  • Knowledge of mixed-signal design and verification techniques.

Problem-Solving Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and optimize circuit designs.
  • Ability to perform detailed circuit analysis and simulations to ensure design robustness.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong documentation skills for design specifications and reports.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Experience with RF design and layout considerations.
  • Familiarity with digital design and verification tools.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for automation.
