We are seeking an experienced and motivated Frontend Developer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will design and develop high-quality, user-facing web applications, collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and backend engineers, and play a meaningful role in shaping our product architecture. You should be comfortable working independently as well as contributing within a collaborative team environment.

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive and performant web applications using the latest Frontend Frameworks.
• Translate UI/UX wireframes and design mockups into clean, production-ready code.
• Build and maintain reusable, well-documented component libraries and design systems.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality.
• Optimise application performance through profiling, lazy loading, code splitting, and caching strategies.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility across all supported platforms.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives) and contribute to technical planning discussions.
• Identify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities proactively.
• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and evaluate their applicability to our products.

• Strong proficiency in one or more component-based frontend framework
• Solid command of TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Deep knowledge of HTML5 semantic markup, CSS3, and SASS/SCSS.
• Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
• Familiarity with build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, or similar).
• Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs; exposure to GraphQL is a plus.
• Proficiency with version control using Git (branching strategies, pull requests, code review).
• Working knowledge of unit and integration testing using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Understanding of web performance optimisation techniques and Core Web Vitals.

Experience

3 – 5 years of professional experience in frontend development.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) or static site generation (SSG) using Next.js.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
• Exposure to containerisation tools such as Docker.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design practices.
• Experience working within a micro-frontend or monorepo architecture.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
