Assistant Manager Finance

We're looking for an Assistant Manager Finance who's insightful, data-driven, and passionate about steering financial strategy in a rapidly evolving landscape. In this role, you'll be responsible for financial analysis, and forecasting initiatives, providing key insights to drive decision-making, and ensuring the financial health of the organization as we unlock new opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with IFRS, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc management reports as required for informed decision making.
- Collaborate with external and Internal auditors, providing necessary documentation and clarifications as required.
- Oversee tax planning strategies to optimize the organization’s tax position while ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations. Coordinate with external tax advisors and prepare tax filings.
- Coordinate and ensure the timely and accurate collection of bills from customers.
- Manage the processing and disbursement of payments to vendors and other stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll management process to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement.
- Determine and authorize appropriate journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure monthly forecasted financials for informed management decisions by coordinating with Projects and functions.
- Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets, ensure compliance with regulations and policies, and mitigate financial risks.
- Prepare and scrutinize various general ledger reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of reporting.
- Proactively identify and resolve financial issues and discrepancies when encountered.
- Execute any other tasks or responsibilities as directed by management.
Requirements
- Graduation from any reputed university majoring in Finance or AIS (BBA graduates from other departments are also encouraged to apply)
- Minimum 3 years of experience of working in core financial reporting related tasks
- CA CL passed/CMA IL-II passed/ACCA Level qualified
- Pursuing multiple qualifications may be advantageous
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Very good attention to detail.

Salary Range
60,000 - 70,000 BDT
